Elephant mask

Object/Artifact

Pair of masks in the form of the head of an elephant. Each entirely covered in multi-colored glass beads. The beads on "A" form narrow red, yellow and blue stripes overall. The ears are covered in black buttons inside and out. The head on "B" is striped red and blue, with yellow tusks. Inside the ears are double gong images in green, black and red beads, surrounded by blue and red buttons. The attached caps that sit on the wearer's head are made of woven raffia.
